The past couple of years I have considered the following categories when deciding on gifts for my girls. This has really helped when I have seen a great idea that I know they will all enjoy, and not been sure on who should receive it, such as a new board game. Or if I am having trouble thinking of a suitable gift, or needing something else small for them. These categories help me to expand my gift ideas. I don’t always have a gift from each category, but it does help thinking about them this way.
Something to Read:
A new Bible – one at their reading level
Jesus Calling Bible,
A Devotional book – to guide them during their private quiet times in the year ahead
Jesus Wants All Of Me – My Utmost for His Highest written for kids
How to Be God’s Little Princess
A fun book – to read and enjoy like a novel or a beautifully illustrated picture book. This could be anything you think your child will enjoy.

A board game
A toy the whole family can enjoy. One year I bought water guns from a cheap shop, enough for everyone. With a household of girls, this was a new toy 😉 Fun memories were made that day! It’s one Christmas that we still talk about with fondness.
Something to Wear:
Hat, shoes, jewellery, clothes, swimmers, pyjamas. Who doesn’t like to receive something new to wear?
